CHESAPEAKE - Nancy Lou Simpson, 71, of the Chesapeake Health Care Center on Kingsborough Road, died Dec. 1, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mrs. Simpson, the widow of Willie Lee Simpson, was a housewife. She was a native of Warrenton, N.C., and a member of Lovely Hill Baptist Church, Warrenton.

Survivors include five daughters, Ella Mack of Camden, N.J., Ethel Williams of Virginia Beach, Teretha Robinson of Camden, Mary F. Jones of Norfolk and Nancy D. Terrell of Chesapeake; three sons, Mack Williams of Farmville, Va., Willie Lee Simpson of Philadelphia, James A. Simpson of Norfolk; four sisters, Rebecca Hall, Mary Nabors, Virginia Garrett, and Evelyn Rainey of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Allen, Leroy, and Alex West of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, Oneika Hinnant, Cecil W. Hinnant, Jamellia Simpson, Larry R. Terrell, Amber M. Terrell, Kempner Jones Jr., James A. Simpson Jones; four sons-in-laws; two daughters-in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Henry G. Baker. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. A visitation service will be held today from 7 to 8 p.m at the funeral home. Friends may join the family at 7505 Paulin Ct., Norfolk.
