Mignon Helms, 89, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1995, in her home in Virginia Beach.
She was charter member of the Association for Research and Enlightenment. A loving mother and grandmother is survived by two daughters, Ellen Payne of Virginia Beach, and Phyllis Becker of Churchton, Md.; five grandchildren, Stephen Pettet, Leslie Lewin, Page Nichols, Mark Payne and Patrick Becker; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, at 4 p.m. in the United First Methodist Church, Luxenbourg-Bersailles Avenue, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to National Cerebral Palsy.
