Mary Maynadier Mathews Wing, 91, died Dec. 5, 1995.
Mrs. Wing was the widow of Joseph Howard Wing and the daughter of Grace M. Mathews and George W. Mathews. Mrs. Wing was born at Apthorp House in Cambridge, Mass. She is survived by her daughter, Mary M. Foreman; her son-in-law, James H. Foreman; six grandchildren, James H. Foreman Jr. and his wife Star A. Foreman, Joseph Howard Foreman, Claudia Foreman Waters and her husband Howard B. Waters, Mary Foreman East and her husband Richard N. East, William S. Foreman II and his wife Susan McLachlan, David M. Foreman and his wife Selina G. Foreman; and five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Grace Mathews Barnes and Olivia Mathews Maugham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Wings' request, her body has been donated to medical science. A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Church of Norfolk on Dec. 16, 1995 at 1 p.m. Interment will be private at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Memorial donations may be made to Volunteers of America, 5677 Herbert Moore Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
