Peter G. LeCroy

NORFOLK - Peter G. LeCroy, 80, of the 400 block of Westmont Ave., died Dec. 5, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. LeCroy, a retired welder and fabricator, worked for Tidewater Steel Corp. for many years. He was a native of Hartwell, Ga., and the widower of Ruth B. LeCroy. He was a member of Norview Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and involved in the Summers Sunday school class.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean R. Johnson, and her husband, Sidney, of Newport, N.C., and Anne R. Casas and her husband, Bradford, of Chesapeake; four sons, Robert H. LeCroy of Charleston, S.C., Roger A. LeCroy of Jacksonville, Fla., George G. LeCroy of Norfolk, William T. Robbins and his wife, Joy, of Wauchula, Fla.; five sisters, Emma Snow of Harwell, Ga., Eula Gibson of Athens, Ga., Jean Franklin of Lilburn, Ga., Sarah Bond of Beltsville, Md., Joanne LeCroy of Fort Sonia, Ga.; four brothers, Howard LeCroy of Hartwell, Ga., Charles L. LeCroy Jr. of Fremont, Calif., Alton LeCroy of Portsmouth, R.I., Leonard LeCroy of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren, Robin Anne Gracia of Lawrenceville, Ga., Thomas B. Turner of Chesapeake, Jennifer T. Spears of Newport, Elizabeth A. Casas of Sterling, Va., and Valerie Anne Robbins of Alameda, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. James Bradshaw. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
