Stories Tuesday and Wednesday about revised admission standards
for Old Dominion University were based on university documents using
outdated Scholastic Aptitude Test scoring scales. The corrected SAT
standards are in a story today in the MetroNews section, page B3.
The proposed site of a farm park in Virginia Beach is in an area
across Princess Anne Road from the Farmer's Market. An exact
location hasn't been proposed. A map in Thursday's MetroNews section
was incorrect.
Yigal Amir, the confessed killer of Israeli Prime Minister
Yitzhak Rabin, was shown at the right, not center, of an Associated
Press photo Thursday.
There were errors in a Daily Break story Thursday about the
Virginia Festival of Jewish Film, which will be held at The Naro
Expanded Cinema in Norfolk.
Claudette Maille, the star of ``Like a Bride,'' will appear after
the movie's screening Saturday night.
And Sunday's discussion of ``Cultural Barriers through Cinema''
will be at the theater and not at Elliot's Restaurant. Post-film
discussions will be held at the restaurant Monday through Thursday.
