A former high-level U.S. diplomatic and defense official will address the World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads Thursday.
The speaker, Paul D. Wolfowitz, is dean of the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
He earlier served as undersecretary of defense for policy, U.S. ambassador to Indonesia and assistant secretary of state for east Asian and Pacific affairs.
Wolfowitz will speak at 8 p.m. in Webb Center at Old Dominion University, preceded by a reception at 6:15 and dinner at 7.
