Portsmouth's Junius Kellogg is shown when he was inducted into the
Virginia Sports Hall of Fame on April 20, 1990. Kellogg was a star
basketball and football player at Norcom High in the 1940s, played
basketball at Manhattan College in New York and became a paraplegic
after an automobile accident when he was playing for the Harlem
Globetrotters. He coached five World Olympic Wheelchair championship
teams and played on a national one.
