Agapita B. ``Spanish Rose'' Mitchell, 62, of the 100 block of Williams St., died Dec. 5, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mrs. Mitchell, a cook, worked at Wynn's Seafood. She was a native of Panama City, Panama.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Mitchell; four daughters, Hope Mitchell, Arthaya Swanson, Saundra Mayo and Karen Shepard, all of Portsmouth; two sons, Albert Gilliard and Cedric I. Mayo, both of Portsmouth; 10 grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Albert Gilliard. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 1 p.m. today. The family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday for the service.
