Dorothy Allen Davis, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995.
Born at King and Queen Courthouse, she was a longtime Hampton resident, where she was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Mrs. Davis was also a member of the Hampton Women's Club and the Arts Club of Hampton.
Survivors include her husband, Col. Edward G. Davis; a daughter, Roberta D. Wrenn of Franklin; a son, Donald E. Davis of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Meredith A. Wrenn, Brian E. Davis and Jennifer E. Davis. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen A. Wrenn.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Aldersgate United Methodist Church by the Rev. Elizabeth S. Wright. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Mattaponi Baptist Church Cemetery, King and Queen County.
