ANN L. MILLS

Ann L. Mills, 68, of the 2100 block of Helsley Ave., a retired hair dresser, died Dec. 10, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.

Mrs. Mills was born in Nashville, Tenn. She was the former owner of Mills Beauty Academy and was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at DePaul Medical Center and was chairman of the Tarrolton Park Voting Precinct.

Survivors include her husband, Harold L. Mills; two sons, John Walter Mills II of Grapevine, Texas, and Harold Lynwood Mills Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Juanita Morrison of Tacoma, Wash., Dorothy J. Spinner of Wilmington, N.C., and Virginia Girgenski of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, Samuel W. Shepherd and Donald R. Shepherd, both of Nashville, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Contributions may be made to Ocean View Baptist Church.
