Howard Elton Perkins, 57, of the 500 block of East Berkley Ave., died Dec. 9, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
He was a roofer for 20 years and a native of Norfolk.
Mr. Perkins is survived by his three daughters, Kimberly Lake of Norfolk, Angela Pittman of Germany, Carmen Perkins of New York; son, Howard Elton Perkins Jr. of Norfolk; three sisters, Amelia Bracey, Quetta Edmonds, Aurelia Watts, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Claude Perkins, Allen Perkins, both of Norfolk; four grandchildren; uncle, Henry Russell; aunt, Rosa Ellis, both of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Aubrey Perkins.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Ervin Scott in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 502 East Berkley Ave. at noon for the funeral procession Wednesday.
