The Windsor Guzzlers men's softball team and the Mainstreet co-ed softball team will sponsor a barbecue dinner and a raffle Friday to benefit Andy Chaney, who recently suffered a heart attack and underwent five-way bypass surgery Nov. 22.
The dinner will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday at the Windsor Community House. The cost for eat-in or take-out meals is $5 per plate.
The raffle drawing will be Dec. 23. More than 14 items have been donated, including a 10-speed Dr Pepper Mountain Bike, Diet Pepsi starter jacket, AM/FM cassette player, Dr Pepper watch, softball bat and NASCAR shirt and hat. Tickets are $1 each.
