Stanley L. Armstrong Sr., of the 3400 block of Head of River Road, died Dec. 12, 1995.
Mr. Armstrong, a native of Princess Anne County, was retired from Virginia Natural Gas Co. He was a member of New Oak Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Odessa M. Armstrong; two daughters, Susan R. Evans and Stephanie E. Pryer, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Stanley L. Armstrong Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Naomi Stewart and Frances Goldman, both of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Oak Grove Baptist Church, by the Rev. O.L. Cromwell II. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
