William L. Anderson Sr., 51, of the 1700 block of Willow Wood Drive, died Dec. 11, 1995. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond L. Anderson Sr.
He was a native of Norfolk and a graduate of Granby High School. Upon graduation he was called into the Army. Afterward he was employed with the Civil Service for 18 years.
He is survived by his mother, Mary E. Anderson of Norfolk; two sisters, Dorothy McBride of Norfolk and Sandra White of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Charles Anderson of Chesapeake and Raymond Anderson Jr. of Norfolk; and 11 nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends and family at the home 6 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
