Dorothy Liebert Dorer, 85, died Dec. 10, 1995.
Mrs. Dorer was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and active with the Girl Scouts for many years. She served on the Board of Directors for the YWCA and was a member of Federated Womens Club of America. Mrs. Dorer served on the Board of the Kings Daughters as well as being a Hoover Friend of the Library.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donna Leigh Jackins of Birmingham, Ala. and Mrs. Judith Wykoff of Foster City, Calif.; five grandchildren, Lindsey Allison and Rowland Jackins of Birmingham, Dean Jackins of Atlanta, Carey Wykoff of San Mateo, Calif., and Dennis Wykoff of Palo Alto, Calif.; two great-granddaughters, Kelsey and Leigh Allison of Birmingham.
The funeral services will be held today in the St. Mark United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Ridout's Southern Heritage, in charge.
