James ``Dave'' Riddick Sr., of the 3200 block of Head of River Road, died Dec. 10, 1995.
Mr. Riddick, a native of Norfolk, was a former member of New Oak Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Doris B. Riddick; five daughters, Brenda Riddick and Dorothy Walston, both of Virginia Beach, Elezinia Griffin of Chesapeake, Cheryl Blow of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Dorothy Hunter of Warrenton, N.C.; a son, James Riddick Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Margie Riddick of Newark, N.J.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in New Oak Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. O.L. Cromwell II. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
