Betty Ward Mitchell Rogers, 89, of the 100 West South St., died Dec. 12, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
Mrs. Rogers, the widow of Thomas Randolph Rogers, was a member of Harrellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher and a native of Hertford County, N.C.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Wetherington of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Ahoskie Cemetery by the Rev. Robert May. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, in charge.
