Delilah Meekins Roach, 74, of the 1500 block of Plantation Lakes Drive, died Dec. 13, 1995, in her residence.
She was a retired salesperson for Sears Roebuck Co. and a native of Norfolk County. She was the widow of Lance Edison Roach and a member of Lindale Church of Christ, Chesapeake. Mrs. Roach was a member of the Amherst, Va., Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 115.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara R. and W. Hugh McNeal of Chesapeake; four sisters, Mildred Forehand, Doris Owens, Hilma Neal and Dora Beals, all of Chesapeake; and two brothers, William Meekins and Marvin Meekins, both of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. David Vaughan in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the residence at all other times. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Haven Children's Home, 3000 N. Landing Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
