Delilah M. Roach
CHESAPEAKE - Delilah Meekins Roach, 74, of the 1500 block of Plantation Lakes Circle, died Dec. 13, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of Norfolk County. She was the widow of Lance Edison Roach and a member of Lindale Church of Christ, Chesapeake. Mrs. Roach was a member of the Amherst, Va., Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 115.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara R. and W. Hugh McNeal of Chesapeake; four sisters, Mildred Forehand, Doris Owens, Hilma Neal and Dora Beals, all of Chesapeake; and two brothers, William Meekins and Marvin Meekins, both of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today by David Vaughan in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Riverside Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Haven Children's Home, 3000 N. Landing Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
