QUINTON NEAL

Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Quinton Neal, United States Navy (Ret.), of the 1300 block of Hawks Nest Way, died Dec. 13, 1995.

Mr. Neal was a native of Banks, Ala. He retired from the Navy after 20 years as an Aviation Ordnanceman First Class. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Neal also retired from the City of Norfolk's Department of Recreation with 12 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Fentress Neal; two daughters, Beverly Jean Beach of Manassas, Va., and Mary Ann Davis of Virginia Beach; three sons, Michael Snipes of Knotts Island, N.C., James Snipes of Charolotte, N.C., and James Peele of Kentucky; two sisters, Ruth N. Spiller of Anniston, Alabama., and Doris N. Crowe of Columbus, Miss.; a brother, Billy Neal of Scottville, Kentucky; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Bill Kincaid. Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. today from 7 to 8 p.m.
