Arthur Washington Hall, 69, formerly of Norfolk, died Dec. 14, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Hall, a retired longshoreman, worked at Maritime Terminals Inc. He was a native of Bacon Hollow, Greene County, Va., and a member of Norfolk Moose Lodge (NU)39, and the American Legion. He was a Naval veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Alma M. Hall; a daughter, Cheryl L. Porter of Norfolk; two sons, A. Wayne Hall and Steven F. Hall of Norfolk; a brother, John H. Hall of Loris, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. William G. Beagle. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside.
