Police released a photograph Thursday of a man wanted in connection with the slaying of 23-year-old Duwane E. White, who was beaten to death in the 8100 block of Shore Drive last month.
On Nov. 27, White was severely beaten inside a trailer home where he had been asleep. He died later that day.
The police are looking for Andrew Lee Green, 41, who is described as black, five feet nine inches and weighing 170 pounds. He frequents the East Ocean View area, police said.
Police also are looking for a man in connection with a Nov. 30 double-shooting in the 3500 block of Sewells Point Road that left one man dead and a teenager seriously wounded.
Derrick Williams, 31, and Jerome Dunn, 16, both of Queens, N.Y., were shot about 12:30 a.m. They were taken to a hospital where Williams was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police spokesman Larry Hill said the wanted man is either a suspect or a witness. He was videotaped on a surveillance camera inside a 7-Eleven near the shooting. A picture taken from that video was released this week.
Anyone with information in either slaying is asked to call Crime Line at 664-4040. ILLUSTRATION: Andrew Lee Green, 41, is wanted in connection with the beating
