Tammy Jo Melton, 30, of the 6300 block of Taylor Drive, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, at her residence.
She graduated from the special education department of J. Cox Elementary School of Norfolk in 1986. She was a Protestant. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Carl D. Melton Sr.
Survivors include her mother, Ann E. Radtke, and her stepfather, Eugene Earl Radtke, both of Norfolk; brother, Carl David ``Dave'' Melton Jr., and special friend, Kathy Murtagh, both of Virginia Beach; stepsister, Crystal Rogers, her husband, Jeff Rogers; and two nephews, Travis and Tyler Rogers, all of Norfolk; and a special friend, Carol Bryar of Richmond.
Services will be conducted at Gardner-Hall Funeral Home, Machias, Maine, Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Norman Duzen. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro, Maine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Family Services of Tidewater, 222 W. 19th St., Norfolk, Va. 23517. Twiford Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, is handling the local arrangements.
