FRANCES P. ENGLISH

Frances P. English, of the 2900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, went home to be with the Lord, Dec. 12, 1995.

She was a native of Florence, S.C., and the widow of Albert English Sr. Mrs. English was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk, and the Salvation Army Home League.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Wright of Norfolk and Delores A. Cooper of Chesapeake; five sons, Charles E. English, Robert L. English, Melvin English, all of Norfolk, Sgt. Major (Ret.) Albert English Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C., and Major (Ret.) Marving L. English of Saudi Arabia; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Lillian Matthews of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Dr. I. Joseph Williams in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
