R. Lloyd Smith, 84, of 4240 Sebren Ave., Lakewood, Calif. 90713, died Dec. 15, 1995.
He was a native of Princess Anne County, Va., and was the son of the late John Clifford Smith and Mary Hugo Smith. He lived in Norfolk until 1945, when he moved to California.
Survivors include his wife, Elnora Copeland Smith; daughters, Anna S. Butcher, Marcia S. Doron, Carol Smith and Sharon Smith; son, Franklin Smith; and several grandchildren, including Elizabeth, who lived with him. He was predeceased by a brother, Clifton Smith.
Services will be held in California. Swindell Funeral Home, Hertford, is in charge of the arrangements.
