Eva Mae Johnson, of the 1700 block of Vine St., quietly slipped away to be with her Lord on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 13, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Irene P. Barnes and Mr. Willie Ray Barnes.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Mr. Johnny Lee Johnson; four daughters; three sons; two sisters; one aunt; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven nieces; five nephews; five great-nieces; two great-nephews; three sisters-in-laws; two brothers-in-laws; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church by the Rev. G. L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. There will be a Wake service from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday in Graves Funeral Home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
