Robert Lee Hunter Jr., died Dec. 15, 1995, in his home.
He was born on Nov. 1, 1923, in Norfolk, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Hunter. He was a graduate of Virginia Episcopal School and attended Hampden-Sydney College. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and received a master's degree from the University of Zurich. He was formerly in the banking and insurance business.
He is survived by his sister, Emily Hunter Slingluff of Virginia Beach; son, Robert Lee Hunter III; and a grandson, Robert Lee Hunter IV, both of Charlotte, N.C.
A memorial service was held Dec. 16, 1995, in the chapel of Galilee Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach.
