Eleanor Ennis Bell, 94, of Pearland, Texas, formerly of River Road, Norfolk, died Dec. 15, 1995, in Clearlake, Texas.
She was a personnel clerk for the Naval Supply Center. She was a native of Philadelphia and the widow of Howard Rowland Bell. She was a member of Christ and St. Lukes Episcopal Church of Norfolk. She was past matron of Virginia Chapter (NU)22, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three grandsons, Reese E. Graves of Pearland, Donnie Farquhar of Overland Park, Kansas, and David Farquhar of Mesa, Ariz.; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Eleanor Farquhar and Natalie Graves.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Beverley D. Tucker in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters or the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital.
