Janiece M. Gibson, 82, of the 3300 block of Doncaster Road, died Dec. 17, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Gibson was a native of Belpre, Ohio. She was a member of Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach. She retired from the Norfolk School System after 20 years of service. She was a member of the local chapter of the National Secretaries Association and the National Egg Art Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Luther S. Gibson; two daughters, Nadine Folks and Kay Tollen and her husband, Marshall, all of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert E. Gibson and his wife, Toni, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery by the Rev. Gary L. Rowe. The family will receive friends at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice.
