Ann D. Garris, 55, of the 1300 block of Mill Plain Road, died Dec. 15, 1995, in the home of her mother in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Garris was born in Winton, N.C. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Fairfield.
Survivors include her mother, Annie M. Garris of Portsmouth; three sisters, Catherine Pope and Barbara McCracken, both of Portsmouth, and Josephine Faulk of Middletown, N.Y.; a brother, Joseph W. Garris Jr. of Olney, Md.; nieces, nephews, cousins; sister-in-law, Peggy Garris; brother-in-law, Ralph McCracken; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4050 Elliott Ave., Portsmouth. Corprew Funeral Home is in charge. The body was cremated. The family will be at the home of her mother, Annie Garris, 906 Hancock Ave., Portsmouth.
