Harold James Wilkerson, 71, of the 5900 block of Jerry Road, a retired aircraft mechanic, died Dec. 15, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Wilkerson was born in Oxford, N.C., and was retired from the Naval Air Station, Norfolk. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jean J. Wilkerson; a daughter, Sylvia Wilkerson of Norfolk; three sons, Terry Wilkerson, Timmy Wilkerson, both of Norfolk, and Robin Wilkerson of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Charlotte Adams of Angier, N.C., Frances Carr of Kansas City, Kan., Shirley Watkins of Angier, N.C.; two brothers, Billy Ray Wilkerson and Wiley Wilkerson of Angier; and two grandchildren, Blake Wilkerson and Kristin Wilkerson, both of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Terry Beck. Burial will be private at a later date. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
