Dorothy R. Petock, 79, of the 7300 block of Glenroie Ave., died Dec. 18, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Petock was a native of Portsmouth, Va. She was the widow of Sol Petock. She was a member of Congregation Beth El in Norfolk and many Jewish and civic organizations in Tidewater.
Survivors include two daughters, Susie Cantor of Richmond and Sheri Petock of Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, Stuart Petock of Chicago; a sister, Anne Copeland of Chicago; a brother, Morris Richels of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 7320 Glenroie Ave., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the United Jewish Appeal or Congregation Beth El in Norfolk.
