FEDERAL RETIREES SHOULDN'T CRY

Federal retirees have one of the best retirement systems this country offers. They complain about their medical coverage when many Americans have none. They cry about being treated unfairly while thousands and thousands of military, other government and private workers have lost a lifetime of security and benefits due to downsizing. These folks received only a limited fraction of what federal retirees get for a lifetime.

Also, let us not forget that many federal retirees are still working for the government pursuing second or even third careers. For some, this may be a necessity; for others just greed.
