Ruth Brownstein Zedd, 83, of the 2400 block of Bidgood Drive, died Dec. 18, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Raymond B. Zedd. She retired as a secretary from Home Furniture Co. and was a member of Gomley Chesed Synagogue, Sisterhood of Synagogue, Hadassah and Hebrew Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include two sons, Charles M. Zedd of Rockville, Md., and Harold C. Zedd of Portsmouth; a sister, Clarice B. Nachman of Seminole, Fla.; and a grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon today in Gomley Chesed Cemetery by Rabbi Philip S. Krohn. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Gomley Chesed Synagogue.
