Donald Hubert, 70, of the 2500 block of W. Bugle Drive, died Dec. 19, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Hubert, a native of Kalamzaoo, Mich., was retired from General Electric as an electrical engineer. He attended Believers Baptist Church. He was an amateur radio ham operator W8BSW, and U.S. Army Infantry veteran of World War II - Division 409 in France and Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Violet M. Hubert; two daughters, Kim and Kay; two sons, Gary and Steven; a brother, Louis Hubert; and two grandchildren, Aaron and Shane.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Pastor Scott Ranck. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Believer's Baptist Church Building Fund.
