Raymond Wendell ``Stormy'' Ross Engle, 54, of the 1800 block of Piankatank Lane, died Dec. 15, 1995, in Tampa, Fla.
Mr. Engle, who also resided in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., was a native of Chicago, Ill., and he was an avid stamp collector. He was a Naval officer from 1964 to 1967 serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Purdue University, Class of 1964, with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was employed in Panama from 1974-1991 and was Chief of Technical Services Support, Management Informations Systems, Panama Canal Commission. He currently worked at E.G. and G. Kennedy Space Center for the past two years as Senior Systems Analyst.
He is survived by his wife, Kathrynn Marie Brown Engle; son, Michael Ross Engle of Madrid, Spain; parents, Theresa and Raymond Engle of Ft. Lauderdale; stepbrother, Donald Engle and his family of Cleveland; and his mother and father-in-law, Walter and Billie Brown Sr. of Virginia Beach and their family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Thomas H. Britton in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Fund.
