SUFFOLK CRIME REPORT

DISTRICT A

Petty larceny, 6000 block College Drive, Nov. 22, someone removed both license plates from a vehicle parked in front of a residence.

Sexual battery, College Drive, Nov. 22, someone states that a man exposed his genitals to a girl, as well as his daughter, while the daughter proposed that the other girl fondle him. The man engaged in fondling with his child.

Hit and run, property damage, 200 block Charlemagne Drive, Nov. 24, someone damaged two cypress trees in the front yard of a residence.

Breaking and entering, 5600 block Bennetts Pasture Road, Nov. 28, someone entered a store by breaking out the bottom of a north-side glass door and removed several packs of beer.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Charlemagne Drive, Nov. 29, someone attempted to gain entry to a residence by pushing the top of the garage door with an unknown object.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 1400 block Holland Road, Nov. 22, while on a routine patrol, a police officer discovered the door to an outside restroom was open. While investigating, he discovered a hole in the room's wall leading into the business and that a heater had been pulled out of the wall to permit access. Currency and two cartons of cigarettes had been removed.

Embezzlement, 1400 block North Main St., Nov. 22, someone rang up a $400 grocery order for $100 and change.

Armed robbery, 800 block West Constance Road, Nov. 24, someone entered a store wearing a medium-blue ski mask. He pulled a small handgun from his pocket and demanded money from the clerk. After he received the money, he ran toward 2nd Avenue.

Breaking and entering, 300 block South Wellons St., Nov. 25, someone gained entry to a residence through the east side door causing approximately $100 in damage.

Breaking and entering, 400 block Linden Ave., Nov. 26, someone gained entry to a residence by forcing open a west side front window after cutting the screen. The following items were removed: an Optimus 5-disc CD player valued at $400, a box of CD's valued at $280 and a box of cassettes valued at $180.

Breaking and entering, 700 block West Washington St., Nov. 27, someone forced entry through the rear north window of a business and removed $318 in currency from an office and approximately $22 in change from the front lobby desk drawer.

Hit and run, property damage, 100 block Benton Road, Nov. 27, someone driving a black, two-door '92 Geo Storm struck and damaged a wooden trash container, cedar bush and oak tree in the front yard of a residence. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Strong-arm robbery, 100 block Washington St., Nov. 28, a woman reports that a man approached her and grabbed her purse. They struggled and the woman chased the robber to the 100 block of East Washington St. where the suspect fled.

Petty larceny, 400 block West Washington St., Nov. 28, someone removed both license plates from a vehicle while it was in for repairs.

Armed robbery, 100 block South Saratoga St., Nov. 28, a man was approached by two men with guns driving a four-door, brown/gold late model Cadillac. They went through the victim's clothing and removed his wallet and currency, a gold ring, a gold watch and a pager.

Armed robbery, Lee and Smith streets, Nov. 28, while exiting his home, a man was approached by men driving a four-door, rust/gold '77-78 Cadillac. One of the men had a handgun and the other a sawed-off shotgun. The victim pushed one of the men and fled the area. He reports that there were four occupants in the vehicle.

DISTRICT D

Breaking and entering, 1200 block White Marsh Road, Nov. 25, while on a routine patrol, a police officer discovered that the front window of the ABC store had been pushed in, possibly by a shopping cart found on the ground in front of the window. Several bottles of alcoholic beverages were missing from the business.

Strong-arm robbery, 1500 block East Washington St., Nov. 25, someone was approached by two men. One man stated, ``Give me your money,'' while the other reached into the victim's pocket. He was then struck about the face and body several times.

Breaking and entering, 900 block Truman Road, Nov. 25, a woman advised that while walking into her residence, she heard the back door shut. Approximate damage to the door was $100.

Homicide, 100 North Capitol St., Nov. 26, a woman returned home to find her son lying on the ground in front of their residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hit and run, property damage, Mount Horeb Street and Roanoke Avenue, Nov. 26, someone driving a blue, two-door '84 Chevrolet sedan was discovered to have been involved in a motor vehicle accident, striking the ditch in the 900 block of Mount Horeb St. No driver was found on the scene and no report was filed by the registered owner.

Breaking and entering, 300 South Main St., Nov. 27, someone went into an unlocked shed and removed a 22-inch Southland 3.5 HP lawnmower and a girls 16-inch bicycle.

Breaking and entering, 400 block York St., Nov. 27, someone entered a shed by breaking a window. Two extension ladders sized 16 feet and 32 feet valued at $425 were removed.

Grand larceny, 800 block Seminole Drive, Nov. 27, after a visit, a woman noticed that her Mitsubishi cellular phone was missing from her purse.

Breaking and entering, 400 block Johnson Ave., Nov. 28, someone entered a residence through the living room window and removed an Emerson microwave, an Emerson 13-inch TV, an 18-inch gold necklace, a seven-diamond ring, a gold nugget ring and two other gold rings.

Breaking and entering, 600 block Madison Ave., Nov. 29, a man forced open the front window of a residence, climbed inside and refused to leave.

Grand larceny, 400 block East Washington St., Nov. 29, someone broke out the right side door window of a '87 Ford Ranger and removed two Mossberg 12-gauge shotguns from the gun rack and approximately $25 worth of buckshot shells.

DISTRICT E

Grand larceny, 200 block Dutch Road, Nov. 22, someone removed several items of jewelry from a residence.

DISTRICT F

Motor vehicle theft, 800 block Carolina Road, Nov. 25, someone reports that between Nov. 14 and Nov. 23 a two-door, gold '88 Chrysler LeBaron was removed. The vehicle had broken down and when the owner returned, it was gone. Having checked with all wrecker services, he found that none of them had towed the vehicle.

Petty larceny, 300 block Babbtown Road, Nov. 29, someone replaced the rear license plate from a vehicle with another. by CNB
