Anthony George Chiomo, 34, of the 1600 block of City Park Ave., died Dec. 19, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Akron, Ohio, and was preceded in death by his father, George Anthony Chiomo. He was currently employed as a sandblaster for Vanwin Coating in Chesapeake.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Gillenwater Chiomo of Portsmouth; wife, Debbie Chiomo; companion, Teresa Gray, and their daughter, Tiffany Renee Chiomo, both of Portsmouth; three sisters, Glenda Falzon of Edenton, N.C., Charlene Dotson of Bullsgap, Tenn., Myra McCarthy of Portsmouth; and two brothers, Dwayne Maggard and Archie Maggard, both of Norton, Va.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Father Edward Richardson. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
