A former Navy nurse, Mrs. Lewis was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 1989, which she contacted from her contact with Agent Orange. When she resided in the Tidewater area, Mrs. Lewis was an enthusiastic supporter in the Omsbudsman training program and various Navy Family Support Groups.
