Regarding the occupation of Bosnia:
Hitler had some 15 divisions of his Nazi hordes in Yugoslavia and was never able to subdue Tito's partisans. The mountainous terrain made it a nightmare for ``occupying'' troops. Nothing has changed.
As for a ``moral basis,'' look to Somalia. We quickly pulled out when 18 American soldiers were slaughtered by Warlord Aidid, who was directly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of children and adults. Are we preparing to do the same in Bosnia?
I do not want my tax dollars thrown into another bottomless pit. We are already bankrupt and Clinton has shown no desire for getting government finances in order.
