Norman Wiggins

NORFOLK - Norman Wiggins, age 83, of 943 Mariner St., died Dec. 18, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

His wife, Cosey Lee Wiggins; daughter, Barbara Brown; and parents Lucy Ann and Joe B. Wiggins preceded him in death. Mr. Wiggins was a native of Halifax, N.C.

He was involved with the Deacon Board, Trustee and Usher Board at Mount Hermon Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mattie J. Burston of Norfolk, and Jurlener McEachin of Newark, N.J.; one son, Norman Wiggins Jr. of New York; two sisters, Irona Spriggs of Norfolk and Lundonia Arrington; brother, Fred Wiggins of Greenville N.C.; grandchildren, Michael Burston, Debbie Wiggins, Mark Burston and Janet Brown; and a host of nieces, great-grandchildren and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23, 1995, at 1 p.m., by the Rev. Lewis Steven in the Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Norfolk. Burial will take place at the Roosevelt Memorial Garden in Chesapeake. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
