AUGUSTUS G. ARMENIOX

Augustus ``Gus'' Armeniox, 68, of 511 Wicker St., died Thursday morning, Dec. 21, 1995, at his home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christ United Methodist Church with Dr. George Thompson officiating.

Mr. Armeniox was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Norfolk to the late Stelios and Bertha Armenakis. He had lived in Greensboro for over 40 years, having moved here from Norfolk. He was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church and retired from the Henry Walke Company. He was also a member of Gideons International.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Ruby Tatem Armeniox of the home; children, Stephen M. ``Mike'' Armeniox, Donna A. Cox, Paul J. ``Joey'' Armeniox, all of Greensboro, N.C., and Agusta ``Gussie'' B. Armeniox of Virginia Beach; sister, Georgia Shoulars of Wilmington, N.C.; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Forbis and Dick North Elm Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be directed to Hospice at Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
