CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION: ***************************************************************** A brief Friday in the MetroNews section gave the wrong date for a Black Man-Black Woman Rally in Suffolk. It will be held today at Constant's Wharf from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Correction published in The Virginian-Pilot on Saturday, December 23, 1995, on page A2. ***************************************************************** RALLY PLANNED

A Black Man-Black Woman Rally is planned in Suffolk today from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Constance Wharf at Main and Constance Ave. Terrance Bowers, a Suffolk businessman, planned the march in the wake of the Million Man March in Washington, D.C., this year.

The event will host a variety of speakers who will address economic empowerment and responsibility within the community and family. A voter registration drive will begin at 10 a.m. Bowers said he hopes 1,000 black men and women, as well as those of other creeds will attend. by CNB
