Gladys Bunch Blanchard, 74, of Route 1, died Dec. 22, 1995 in Winslow's Memorial Nursing Home, Elizabeth City.
A native of Chowan County, Mrs. Blanchard was retired from banking. She was a member of Warwick Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Ruben Blanchard and a sister Mary Belle Bunch.
Survivors include one sister, Hazel B. Chappell of Norfolk; one brother, Roger Bunch of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995 at 2 p.m. in Warwick Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Hupp. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be todayfrom 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home, Gatesville.
