The guided-missile destroyer Mitscher, left, and the guided-missile

cruiser San Jacinto were among the 20 ships lighted up for the

holidays Friday night as part of Operation Decorama at the Norfolk

Naval Base. The public is invited to view the ships between 6 p.m.

and 9 p.m. through January 3. There is no charge.
