Standing on the corner eating pizza pie. It sounds like the stuff of a popular song.
But for Park View, it's a symbol of taking back the streets, community policeman Sean Dunn said.
Dunn and Brook Donahue, the two community policemen stationed in Park View, will host some of their fellow city police officers for a pizza supper at 6 p.m. Dec. 29 at 200 Hatton St.
``This was a high drug corner at one time, and we want to send a message,'' Dunn said.
The pizza was donated by a neighborhood Pizza Hut on London Boulevard. Guests will include officers from the Narcotics Division and the Tactical Police Unit who have worked to clear criminal activity from the area. by CNB
