Mildred Stallings Etheridge, 81, formerly of the 200 block of Old Drive, died Dec. 20, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Etheridge was born in Norfolk County, Va., and was a retired librarian for the Chesapeake school system. She was the widow of Raymond Lucian Etheridge. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Chesapeake and was involved with United Methodist Women.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Etheridge Mercer of Bradenton, Fla.; a son, Raymond Lee Etheridge of Chesapeake; a sister, Mrs. James M. Etheredge of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. W. Roberts McIvor in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
