EUMILTA A. KING

Eumilta A. ``Mecia'' King, 23, of the 800 block of Craig St., died Dec. 21, 1995, in a local hospital.

She was a student at Hicks Academy of Beauty Culture. She was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ, Norfolk, and a member of the Young Voices. She was a native of Norfolk and graduate of Lake Taylor High School. She attended Virginia State and Norfolk State University.

Survivors include her mother and father, Fannie Eason and Curtis Eason, of Norfolk; her biological father, James C. Spruill, of Norfolk; four sisters, Kimberly Spruill of Virginia Beach, Chenta, Monica, Keshia Eason, all of North Carolina; two brothers, Reginald Eason and Curtis Eason, both of North Carolina; grandfather, Arthur L. King Sr. of Norfolk; grandmother, Alice Eason of Sunbury, N.C.; great-grandmother, Fannie Banks of Norfolk; three uncles, Arthur T. King of Forestville, Md., Johnny Grant of East Orange, N.J., Anthony Gaskins Sr. of Maryland; four aunts, Bernice King of Forestville, Dorothy Grant of East Orange, Marie Lewis of Ahoskie, N.C., Ruby Gaskins of Maryland; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mark United Church of Christ, 521 Obendorfer Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Thomas J. Hart. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will be today and Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk. The body will be placed in the church Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. Friends will assemble with the family at 817 Craig St., Berkley, at 1 p.m. Tuesday for the funeral procession to the church.
