Rudolph Edwards, 80, of the 3000 block of Elbyrne Drive, died Dec. 23, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Edwards, a retired rigger from the Naval Shipyard, was a native of North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucinda Edwards, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Solid Rock Church of God in Christ, 2100 Vickers Ave., Chesapeake, by Elder William Blanchard. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Garden, Chesapeake. Friends will assemble with the family at 3000 Elbyrne Drive, Chesapeake, Thursday at noon for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is in charge.
