THOMAS E. LIGHT

Thomas E. Light, 33, of 477 Plummer Drive, was called to his eternal home on Dec. 21, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was employed with North Landing Line Const. Co. and was critically burned in an electrical accident at the naval base.

Tom was the beloved son of the Bennie L. Light (deceased), Helen Light Grathwohl and Paul Grathwohl. He was ``Dad'' to son, Tom Jr., and married to Tina, both of Lavelle, Pa. He was a loving brother to his sister, Helen, and her husband, Bill ``Brutus'' Evans. He will be greatly missed by his niece, Amanda ``Snickelfritz'' Evans, all of Chesapeake. Tom is survived by several aunts and uncles and many, many friends. He never met a stranger and was always there to help anyone he could. A kind word and big smile were his gifts to all. He was a member of Deep Creek Lodge (NU)16, Knights of Pythias. He was a Catholic.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday by Father James E. Dorson at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
